Power of the Mind Versus Faith

Do you know that there is a positive correlation between faith and the power of the mind? This is similar to the word of God, which says; "He is the God that calleth those things which are not as though they were". Follow me closely here! A weak or tired mind cannot exhibit strong faith, and a strong or healthy mind has a much greater chance of exhibiting powerful or unquestionable faith.

The Biblical faith definition can be seen in (Hebrews 11: 1):  "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen".

Before we continue: What is a different faith definition? Another way to define faith: This is what I believe and I am not going to waver until I receive it.

Sometimes when you act in faith, you are acting in your subconscious mind. Let me share an example here. Imagine a friend or family member is sick with terminal illness. The situation is getting worse and the person is fast becoming a vegetable. The doctors say there is only a one percent chance of survival. In this scenario, in order to exhibit stubborn faith, you must first of all deny your conscious and tap into the unconscious mind. Once this occurs, you are able to tell the doctors that the patient will survive. I have heard many cases as this in which unquestionable faith brought about healing, deliverance, wonders and so forth.

Whatever your desires or wants, if you can envision its reception in your mind, then you have a higher chance of receiving it. In order to effectively paint a picture of your desire(s) in your mind and accept it, you must operate in the power of your unconscious mind. This is similar to meditation, which God instructs all His children to practice continually. One very evening, as I had been trying to get something done for many hours; suddenly my mind caught a glimpse of the solution in the form of a picture. Guess what happened next! The task instantly got accomplished.

How do you maintain a very healthy mind? By eating a healthy balanced diet, exercising, and dwelling on the things of God's Kingdom. Remember, this must be done continually and not once or twice.

I am writing this article based on my personal experience. Remember God is no respecter of person. What he does for one; He will do for another. This is why everything that happened to man in the Biblical era is still happening today. You may look at some scriptures on faith here: http://bit.ly/1nEg1YS
