This Book Helped Me: Battlefiled of the Mind

I would love to thank my two Pastor friends who are a couple for pouring spiritual wisdom into my heart. The beginning of this was in the early stage of year 2009. At the time all of these happened my wife was working in Africa and I had gone to visit her. One very day, my wife and I took a walk to the man and woman of God's house. The Pastor then told me that he would love to mentor me in the things of God's kingdom. I being spiritually hungry, I gladly accepted. This went on for about three months after which I became spiritually sound.

One terrible thing happened immediately my wife and I came back from  a London, England vacation. I became spiritually challenged and got completely confused as to what to do. Spontaneously I remembered all the spiritual training I had received from my Pastor friend. I also was given a book by Joyce Meyer, "Battlefield of the Mind: Winning the Battle in Your Mind". As I applied the steps in this book and the strategies I learned from the man of God, I gradually got relieved.

Now it is clear to me that God uses those who are ordinary and perhaps have gone through challenges to change the world. For example, Jesus was betrayed and rejected; Joyce Meyer was sexually abused during her youth; Kenneth Hagin had a heart disease from birth; others lived in total poverty. I could write a long list of God's generals in the Bible who fit this category. However, the common thing is that He brought all of them through it.

It is good to have a discerning spirit because the God and the enemy bring people into your life for certain reasons. God does so to improve you and the enemy does so to destroy you.
